A special screening of ‘Adipurush’ trailer was hosted for fans in Hyderabad on Monday and the event was attended by the lead couple Kriti Sanon and Prabhas. Videos from the event are now going viral on social media, wherein fans are seen welcoming team ‘Adipurush’ with a huge cheer.
A frenzy of fans were seen at a theatre in Hyderabad where the exclusive preview was hosted. Chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ were also heard at the event. Post this event, the trailer was leaked online. The makers will launch ‘Adipurush’ trailer at a grand event in Mumbai today, but clips of the video are already going viral on social media.
Directed by Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ is inspired from Ramayana and features Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Shesh and Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist Lankesh. After several delays, ‘Adipurush’ will hit the screens on June 16. Ahead of its theatrical release, the movie will have its world premiere at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival in New York. Promising to deliver grand visuals, director Om Raut had told PTI, “Challenges are always there but that will only make our cinema better and journey stronger. Especially with a film like this, which is a first of its kind in India, as we have used technology that is seen in big Hollywood films like Marvels, DC and ‘Avatar’.”
