As soon as he shared the post, likes and comments poured in from all sides. Sonam took to the comment section and replied to her father’s emotional post, ‘Love you so much! My biggest cheerleader.’ Sonam’s businessman husband Anand Ahuja also commented on the post, ‘Wowwww. So lovely said!’ Bhumi Pednekar, Maheep Kapoor and others dropped red heart emojis on the post.
Earlier, Sunita Kapoor had shared a short clip of the ceremony where Sonam was introduced as one of the biggest actors in Bollywood. The actress was seen beginning her speech with the traditional namaste. She emphasized the diversity of the Commonwealth during her spoken word performance. She captioned the video, “So proud! Such an honour!”
