Emraan Hashmi has been in the industry for around two decades now. He had made his debut in 2003 with ‘Footpath’, but one has rarely seen actors like him. He’s given some memorable movies and most of his songs remain eternal favourites. One of his hit films, ‘Jannat‘ completes 15 years today and as Emraan celebrates the film’s anniversary, he gets nostalgic.
He says, “Where did 15 years pass by? It still feels nostalgic and surreal. Jannat is also one of my favorite projects to have worked on. Fans also showered so much love on the film and I still remember how the songs were a rage. Even today, sometimes I come across someone who is singing or humming the songs the way we do when a fresh song is released.”
‘Jannat’ was a huge hit at the box office and fans still remember some of the songs of the films like ‘Zara Si Dil Mein De Jaga Tu’ among others. It got critical acclaim as well as success at the box-office. Hence, the makers even made a sequel. Fans are also looking forward to the third installment of the film. One hopes that the third part is made.
While ‘Jannat’ had Sonal Chauhan, the sequel has Esha Gupta. Emraan who was last seen in Akshay Kumar’s ‘Selfiee’ has been training hard for ‘Tiger 3’. While there’s been no official announcement, the actor is set to be seen in the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer in a pivotal role. The film will release in Diwali.
