Palak Tiwari, who recently made her debut with Salman Khan‘s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is making waves with her glam appearances at events and parties. The 22-year-old, daughter of well-known actor Shweta Tiwari, recently opened up on why she did not pursue a career in TV, just like her mother.
In an interview to a music channel, Palak said she always thought that she won’t be a good fit for TV. Elaborating on the same, the young actor said that she has seen her mother carve her own niche in the industry and doing such a fabulous job of it, and that too for decades. Compared to that, Palak thought that there won’t be anything new for her to pick and comparisons with her mother would be inevitable, as she is a brilliant performer. She further revealed that while getting movie offers was a bit of a chase, she received many TV roles since her mom had left a ‘legacy’ behind. However, she had to turn them all down.
Recently in an exclusive interaction with ETimes, Palak came clean on her statement that co-star Salman Khan does not like women to wear deep neckline blouses on set. When asked about the uproar created by the same, Palak was quick to retort. She said, “All this is a part and parcel of what we do. Also, I’m not really taken aback, since I know Salman Sir is an extremely understanding individual and he knows that I would never say anything inappropriate about him. Not only that, I will count this as a learning experience, since I would never want to be in that position again”.
The newly launched actor is currently shooting with Sanjay Dutt for her next, and seems elated on grabbing such big projects, so early on in her career.
