Sports and entertainment has always been a match made in heaven. Whether it is a romantic partnership or just great friendship, Bollywood and sports is a mutual admiration society.
Recently, at a leading fashion gala, Riteish Deshmukh found himself wielding the badminton racket, against none other than world champion PV Sindhu. Riteish, who hosted the event along with his wife, Genelia D’Souza, indulged in some moments of play with the ever so affable Sindhu, as the famous song, “Dhal Gaya Din Ho Gayi Sham”, featuring Jeetendra and Leena Chandavarkar, played on the stage.
Seems like Riteish was no novice to the game as his badminton skills impressed Sindhu and she later took to her Instagram story to share a video of herself and Riteish playing. Tagging the actor, the talented player wrote, “You were amazing.” In his reply, Riteish wrote, “Dear @pvsindhu1 you are too kind & extremely gracious- very proud of all your achievements- till we play again…”
Riteish also shared the video on his Instagram handle and wrote, “About last night… it’s was an absolute pleasure to play badminton with the amazingly stylish World Champion and India’s Pride @pvsindhu1″.
Riteish was last seen in the Marathi film Ved, co-starring wife Genelia D’Souza.
