Bhagyashree left the film industry to dedicate herself to her family. She has often talked about prioritising her family over her career. In a new interview, her co-star Samir Soni revealed that Bhagyashree would recoil each time while shooting for their romantic scene in their 2001 TV movie Ankhiyon Ke Jharonkhon Se.
In the film, Samir and Bhagyashree played lovers where the latter played the role of a blind girl in the Anil Ganguly directorial. The two were supposed to shoot a suhagraat scene and the director had set a romantic frame near a window, under the moonlight.
Samir then went on to reveal in a chat show that the moment he would come near Bhagyashree, she would recoil. He said that it happened multiple times. He wondered what the problem was since her blind character wasn’t supposed to know that he was coming to close her.

Then Bhagyashree took him aside and told Samir to not take it personally because she has little kids and if they see her like this, they would get uncomfortable. Samir respected her decision and asked her convey the same to their director.
On the work front, Bhagyashree is currently seen in the Bellamkonda Sreenivas’s Chatrapathi which has been released in theatres this Friday. The movie, which is the Hindi remake of Prabhas-SS Rajamouli’s Chathrapathi, also features Nushratt Bharuccha. Earlier, she was seen doing a cameo in Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
