“Killers of the Flower Moon” is an upcoming film directed by Martin Scorsese and based on the book of the same name by David Grann. The film explores themes of money, violence, guilt, and atonement, with Scorsese delving into the historical erasure and political gamesmanship that resonate even in today’s divisive climate. The runtime of the film is three and a half hours, but its escalating tragedy and gripping narrative justify the length.
“Killers of the Flower Moon” premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and is set for a fall release, with a limited theatrical release on October 6, followed by a wider release on October 20. It will also be available for streaming on Apple TV+ at a later date.
