Prince Harry is forced to reconsider UK travel plans as he is faced with some troubling news.
The Duke of Sussex, who is reportedly set to attend an Invictus Games event in his home country, is concerned about security arrangements as details of his attendance are made public, per sources quoted by Express.co.uk.
The insider shared that Harry’s team “were so adamant about keeping his whereabouts on a need-to-know basis” given the security risks in UK.
“Harry recognises the potential risks to his security, especially considering the sensitive information he shared in his memoir,” the source told the outlet.
“Whenever he’s appeared at events in the UK in the last few years, there have been last-minute announcements due to this very reason.”
The Invictus Games 10th anniversary service is to be held at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday, May 8th. The guest list had also mentioned Meghan Markle, however, it is not confirmed if she was to accompany Harry to UK.
“The fact that St. Paul’s has published the exact time and date of an event he is due to attend on their official website weeks in advance is seen as a serious security risk.”
Previously, Harry had challenged the High Court over the decision to downgrade his security status after he stepped back from his royal duties.
Now, the leaked dates and location has “just added extra anxiety to his fears.”
